Today was average in every respect except one. It started in band class when one guy just wouldn't stop talking, and on top of that, he forgot his instrument and had to borrow one. Finally, My band teacher told him to put the trombone away and told him to sit apart from the others and not talk. And after that, one girl was chewing gum while playing the flute! How do you so that!? He told her to spit it out, and she said she'd just swallow it (wierd), but she was still chewing it later! OMG! He just said "Forget it, pack up, wait for the bell". We only had a couple of minutes left, but for my band teacher who is mr. calm, cool and collected, this was new. I just figured it was a one time thing and waited for the bell. Things got worse in drama class. Our teacher was out, so we got to watch "Witness for the Prosecution". It was supposedly a great murder mystery, but I couldn't tell because people wouldn't stop talking!!! I had to contain myself from turning around and just flat out saying "Shut Up!". It wasn't all of them just a select few. My drama class has some great people, but we also ended up with the 4-5 people who always seem to ruin it for the rest of us. I missed most of the dialog and at one point just wanted to scream. And guess what? The same guy who forgot his trombone was one of the ones talking! The guy is physically incapable of keeping his mouth shut! AAAARRRGGGH! Tomorow should be better though. I also rented a couple of movies. I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but I probably would have liked it more if I'd read the book. I did like how they flashed the names of the chapters that each scene was based on over them. Nice touch that told the die hard fans that they were trying to stick close to the original story. I have a clarinet lesson tomorrow, Bowling with my friend Tommy (Yes, we both have the same name which gets VERY confusing) on friday, and a haircut folowed by firearms training on saturday. It peomises to be an interesting rest of the week.
