Haricuts and firearms

All things considered, it was a pretty cool day. First I had my haircut, which was alright, I figured it was about time I tried something on the short side. I mostly just sat around and waited, listening to my ipod. After the haircut, I grabbed some lunch at the same place I always do after a haircut: The blue bonnet in north hampton. It's a nice place with class A burgers! When I came home, I tried connecting my computer to the HDTV. It looked great, and I could finally play Halo full screen. I then had my firearms training class, which was pretty boring. We didn't get to actually shoot, just talk about the laws and regulations. Around here, you #$%^ up once, you lose that license for life! Next time I'm actually going to get to shoot, and some good did come out of that class. I now know all of the basic laws, and in one year I can aply for a basic firearms license! Tommorow morning is paintball! Here's hoping I don't get pegged to much!

Bowling with Mr. Annoyo!

School: Boring. Aftr school: Bowling! My friend Tommy decided to celebrate his birthday by taking a couple firends kendle pin bowling! The game was good (I scored pretty low), but the pain was caused by my other friend (Name not mentioned here). He's one of those people who acts like a complete @$$ in an attempt to get attention. You know anyone like that? Honestly, The one thing we're all afraid to tell him is "We know you think you're being funny, but all your doing is agravating us!" Even if you told him, he wouldn't listen. Other than that, the night went off pretty well. I also got to try out my new magic deck against the birthday boy himself. Tommy has been playing magic practically since the game was invented! I would have won if I was playing against anyone else. Tommorow i have a haircut and firearms training. Hope all goes well.

All is forgiven

Thursday, nothing much to say. My band teacher did say that he was sorry he stromed out of the band room and that he had just been really frustrated already that day, and we just had band practice as usual. That was nice, and it really took alot of my shoulders. I had a test in math that I did pretty well on, and That was just about it. I have Tommy's party tomorow and I waited this long to get him a present! Oops! Good thing I know what he likes!

The wednesday of boredom

Talk about average! Nothing of any real signifigance happend today. In gym we played volleyball, and since it was just all of my freinds in a group and none of us really keep score or know the rules, it was the GOOD type of anarchy. But in drama, the *Beep!* hit the fan about yesterday's movie disaster. My drama teacher gave us a really good speech about how we can't afford to cut corners. It made me feel realy bad, even though I didn't even do anything. She then just switched back to her normal self and put us into our groups as usual. I'm doing "Ferris Bueler's day off" And most of my friends are in my group, so I get to do a fun play with friends. After school, I had my clarinet lesson. I still take lessons even though I'm in band. I take lessons from my elementary band teacher: Sue Dunbar. She's really nice, and helps me to write out songs that I like so I can play them on the clarinet. We didn't do much today though, wrote out the start of a coldplay song and worked on a song for band that I was having trouble with. I finally came home, did laundry, my only sheet of homework (light this evening), and started writing my blog as usual. Tomorrow I have band, And I don't know if he'l just write out tuesday's top blowing, or talk to us about it. We'll see!

People won't SHUT UP!!!

Today was average in every respect except one. It started in band class when one guy just wouldn't stop talking, and on top of that, he forgot his instrument and had to borrow one. Finally, My band teacher told him to put the trombone away and told him to sit apart from the others and not talk. And after that, one girl was chewing gum while playing the flute! How do you so that!? He told her to spit it out, and she said she'd just swallow it (wierd), but she was still chewing it later! OMG! He just said "Forget it, pack up, wait for the bell". We only had a couple of minutes left, but for my band teacher who is mr. calm, cool and collected, this was new. I just figured it was a one time thing and waited for the bell. Things got worse in drama class. Our teacher was out, so we got to watch "Witness for the Prosecution". It was supposedly a great murder mystery, but I couldn't tell because people wouldn't stop talking!!! I had to contain myself from turning around and just flat out saying "Shut Up!". It wasn't all of them just a select few. My drama class has some great people, but we also ended up with the 4-5 people who always seem to ruin it for the rest of us. I missed most of the dialog and at one point just wanted to scream. And guess what? The same guy who forgot his trombone was one of the ones talking! The guy is physically incapable of keeping his mouth shut! AAAARRRGGGH! Tomorow should be better though. I also rented a couple of movies. I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but I probably would have liked it more if I'd read the book. I did like how they flashed the names of the chapters that each scene was based on over them. Nice touch that told the die hard fans that they were trying to stick close to the original story. I have a clarinet lesson tomorrow, Bowling with my friend Tommy (Yes, we both have the same name which gets VERY confusing) on friday, and a haircut folowed by firearms training on saturday. It peomises to be an interesting rest of the week.

BSG Fanmade game?

Today was just another day. School was boring but sufferable, and in PE we plaayed basket ball so it wasn't all bad. When I came home I played some Halo and did my home work. But then when I was curious about the battle star galactica PC game, I found out about the two fan made games. One is called BSG Beyond the red line. Both games are mods of freespace 2, and alot of the developers of BTRL left to make BSG Diaspora. This game looks even better! But the last post on the official web site is from 5 months ago! Is it still being made!? And what about BTRL!? I need to know if the games are still being made! Please to anyone who knows tell me!!!!!!! I'm also thinking about getting the pc game. Even though it's supposed to suck, it's the only complete game and I need my BSG in game form. Anyone who knows about the development of either of the freespace 2 mod games PLEASE TELL ME!

Paintballs and imovie anger

I got to try out paintball today! I wore some old sweat pants and a heavy jaket for protection. I was using a standard gas opperated semi-auto. The mask I used didn't exactly fit me well, so it kept sliding infront of my eyes when I was running. I know I got one kill for sure, one I thinkI got, and the rest I could never tell! We played at Ross's dad's friends house, he had a small wood lined with bunkers and a three story tree house. The game went well, and I have a couple of welts to prove it! Ross's dad was the one who tosted me, 2 head shots, one back shot, and an @$$ shot! I got him back though with the only kill I know I got. Over all, I wasted some ammo because they aren't very acurate, and I was rather trigger happy. Still fun, you just gotta rinse the paint out of your hair and move on. I deccided to make a new video about a wii ware title: Contra Rebirth. So I shot it, and when I tried to copy my new intro sequence from my unreleased project I couldn'y figure out how to do it! Turns out that there's no way to combine projects in imovie 09! AAAARRRRGGGH!!! Until I find a way around this, my new video is on hold. Sorry guys. I got my homework done, but my mom made me look over it. For dinner I had chinese, but my regular place doesn't surve on sundays! So I had to wait another 10 minutes while the place my parrents go to added an order of general tso's to the order. I gotta thank my dad for that, I would have had to eat cereal! I also beat my first game of civ 4 (Diplomatic victory), great feeling. School tomorrow, got PE, hope I don't end up playing that same insane scoooter game.

Another Day...

Forgot to write yesterday! So I'll do 2 days in one. School was boring as ever, and after school I went to play yard strike at Ross's, but his foot was still in bad shape! WE ung around, played magic, halo, and finished up with a game of poker. I lost all but one hand! Thank god that wasn't a casino. When he dropped me off at home, Ross's dad said that if he could find a gun for me to borow, that I could go play paintball with him and Ross on Sunday! Hope I can go, I've been playing so many FPS's that I want to go see what it would be like to actually be in the action.
Today I enjoyed the insanely warm weather and decided to stop by my local retro game store. X9 games is run by a guy named Seth. I go there alot, so he knows I look for retro games. They also sell magic cards so I really like browsing. When I told him I had a ps2 but had never played a ps1 and wanted to try it out, he grabbed an old memory card and a copy of metal gear solid for me! I can finally say that I'm trying this classic out. So far I suck at it, but it all takes time. Hoping to play paintball, and hoping I can actually clear revolver osselot!

First Post

Welcome! This is a blog simply folowin gthe day to day activities of The Game Buster (Tom). Today was just an average school day. There were a few interesting events here and there though. It was a late start day for The Amherst school district so I got to sleep in for an hour, and with daylight savings taking it's tole, I needed that! And in PE, since we had a shorter class than usual, my group got to play this wierd game where everyone was on scooters (Those little flat rolling things, not the kind you see kids riding on)and we had to try to score a basket into a hoop that was attached to another scooter that the golie was riding! It sounded fun, but a couple of idiots started getting up off of thier scooters and just plain actiong like morons and soon the whole game just flat out fell apart. I was planning to hang out with my friend Ross after school, but he had engeniering club so I figured I might as well jsut head home and call him later since we both live pretty close to each other. But then as I was heading up the hill behind the school to get home, I just looked out and saw what a nice day it was, and decided to just wait until club was over and just hang out here. I got most of my homework done while I was waiting, and it was just suvh a nice day that I didn't even mind waiting! Call me a nature geek, but I don't do that often, and it's nice to just sit around and think sometimes. When I cought up with Ross we headed back to his place a recorded a quick instructuonal video on how to play the sport we invented called "Yard Strike". all who are interested in this sport, I have another blog set up about it and how the win/loss recored is going, and stuff like that. When we were done with the game, we headed in and played a few games of Magic (Yes I play magic). Ross solidly kicked my @$$. And lastly I came home and started writing this blog. hope you like, and keep watching on youtube to any of my fans who've found this blog.
